TO YOUR COMPUTER.
You can
copy and paste this text into an email to complete and return to us,
though we also email it to new clients for convenience. You can send
photos and logo as email attachments. You can also pay by email - see
the "Making Payments" page for info on safely paying by credit
card in conjunction with PayPal.
The quickest
and simplest way to start your website is to use email to send us what
we need.
It's
also possible to send some info/photos/payment by traditional post,
though this will be slower.

1. Deposit fee of

You can use your credit card (via PayPal) on our "Making Payments"
page. You can also use the post - Send a cheque or international postal
order for $US100 payable to "Click as a Flash". You can also
pay by Western Union.
2. Text information.
For a four page site, send four pages or equivalent of info. Remember
to name each page eg "The company", "Services",
"Contact" and so on. It's recommended not to exceed a couple
of hundred words per page. Four separate emails for a four page site
is best to avoid confusion. This is much quicker than sending it by
post.
3. Photos & illustrations.
(Optional - include any good pics you have, specify the pages they belong
to and relevant descriptions.) The best way to send them is as .jpg
attachments to emails. (Not too many in one email!) We can also accept
.eps and .tif and other formats. You can also send prints by mail. You
must own copyright over anything you send.
4. Company logo if
you have one. You can send it as an email attachment. If digital, .eps
format is best. (We will convert it to the right format for the net.)
Or you can send a .jpg scan, or put a picture in the mail.
5. Optional extra
information. Include any relevant brochures, ads etc that may help us
to better understand your business so we can deliver the best possible
site. If you want a free ad banner on your site, don't forget to send
details.

The following is optional,
but helps in preparing your site for search engines:
Some of the following
becomes hidden code but is read by search engines. An explanation of
this appears on the "Completing the Form" page. Don't worry
if you find this tricky, leave it blank and we will provide advice.
Page titles: (up to
10 words. This appears in your top title bar. (For example, on the web
this page is titled "Construction Form to Start Your Website"
if you look at the top bar of your browser.)
Description: Describe
your company in less than 20 words. (This info may appear in a successful
search for your site in a search engine). It's best to simply be factual
rather than make advertising claims here.
Search words: Insert
key words that people might input in a search engine to find you. So
if you were like our example site Ray's Roof Repairs, you might input:
roof, repair, repairs, fix, storm, damage, rain, emergency, your city
name etc.

COLOR PREFERENCE (optional):
You can choose a color
theme for your site, or leave it to us. Our "Color Chart"
page provides a range of colors and advice.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFO
Finally, please add
any additional comments or requests etc particularly if you have a business
you think we would not be too familiar with, or if you think the format
of your site needs to be fairly different to our example site. You can
even give us the names of a couple of websites you like to help convey
what you want for yours.
